As a London Portrait Photographer I'm often advising clients on the importance of a good head shot.
Our image pops up everywhere now whether it's on our own web site, one of the many social networking sites or maybe a dating web site.
It is important that the image you display best represents what you want to portray. If you're a financial advisor would you wear beach clothes? Probably not, you wouldn't be taken seriously. Likewise for a dating web site would you wear a suit and tie? I think people would expect you to be a boring date. Look at others images and what does it tell you about them?
When you have a shoot with us even if it's just for a profile head shot we still encourage you to bring a selection of clothes and we'll photograph using different backgrounds.
